This is the privacy policy for honestcalculator.com, a website operated by Teodor-Cristian Lutoiu ("I", "we", "us").
What we collect
We collect only what is strictly necessary to run the site and understand how people use it.
Data you provide directly
The site does not require an account, email address, or any personal information to use any calculator. Everything you type into a calculator is processed entirely in your browser — it is not sent to our servers, logged, or stored.
If you email us at contact@teodorlutoiu.com, we receive your email address and message. We use that information only to reply to you.
Data collected automatically
We collect anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics: which pages are viewed, approximate country, the type of device used (desktop/mobile/tablet), browser, referring URL, and whether a calculator produced a result (via an anonymous "calculator-run" event). We do not track individual users across sessions, and we do not use cookies for analytics.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of third-party services that receive limited data needed to deliver the site:
- Vercel — hosts the website. Vercel automatically receives standard web server logs (IP address, request time, URL, user-agent). See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics — anonymous, cookie-free traffic analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data or personally identifiable information. See Plausible's data policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone, under any circumstances.

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Since we don't collect identifying personal data beyond what you send us directly by email, the practical implication is: if you've emailed us and want your message deleted, email us again and we'll delete it.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
